Mace Group, and in particular their team of Mace Sustain CDM coordinators, have won the Health & Safety Award (CDM) at the Constructing Excellence London & South East Awards. The award was given for "the organisation where CDM duties have best been demonstrated and complied with; namely the systematic and effective management of hazard".
Since its inception in 2007, Mace Sustain has consistently delivered excellence in a wide range of SH&E, CDM and social inclusion services. CDM coordination is a particular area of strength and the team has worked on landmark projects in the south east of England including Heathrow East Terminal, the refurbishment of the London's Shell Centre, the London Gateway Port, the More London development on the South Bank and the iconic Pinnacle (Bishopsgate) Tower.
John Hanley, Managing Director of Mace Sustain commented: "We are delighted that Mace Group has received this award, which recognises the performance of our team and more importantly, the steps we are taking to reduce hazards and improve health and safety performance on all our projects."
